Impulse

With this exhibition, the Gold and Silversmithing Foundation in Schwäbisch Gmünd celebrates its 30th anniversary. The title says it all, the Foundation initiated numerous impulse-generating projects during this time to promote the gold and silversmithing. In addition to exhibitions, competitions and acquisitions, this also included the establishment of a City Goldsmith. The exhibition shows the work of 15 renowned goldsmiths and silversmiths from current and past creative phases, as well as works by the latest 16th City Goldsmith.

Mit dieser Ausstellung feiert die Stiftung Gold- und Silberschmiedekunst in Schwäbisch Gmünd ihr 30-jähriges Jubiläum. Der Titel ist Programm, initiierte die Stiftung in dieser Zeit doch zahlreiche impulsgebende Projekten zut Förderung der Gold- und Silberschmiedekunst. Neben Ausstellungen, Wettbewerben und Ankäufen zählte dazu auch die Etablierung eines Stadgoldschmieds. Die Ausstellung zeigt die Arbeiten von insgesamt 15 renommierte Gold- und Silberschmiede aus aktuellen und vergangenen Schaffensphasen sowie Werke der 16. Stadgoldschmiedin.
